Supervision & Training
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Training and Supervising Analyst at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis.
I received my training in social work from Yeshiva University in New York. At the beginning of my career I worked at many different social service agencies including Jewish Big Brothers, Harbor/UCLA Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente. I opened a private practice in West Los Angeles in 1993. During this time I studied psychoanalysis at the Institute of Contemporary of Psychoanalysis. In 1997 I became a Training and Supervising Analyst and faculty member.
I supervise interns from the Maple Counseling Center and the Airport Marina Counseling Center. I also give talks on such topics as adult daughters and their mothers; understanding your relationship with money; the therapeutic process; boundary dilemmas; and self psychology.
I enjoy the learning process and sharing my experiences and expertise with others.
